A set of four beautiful souvenir plates from the Paris 1900 Exposition Universelle, showcasing the fabulous buildings constructed for the event.

The plates are gently aged with an honeyed patina, the buildings are in a blue black French ink colour and the traditionial French design of the oak and olive sprigs, symbolising the North and South of France, joined by the Napoleon III elegant bow.

The plates are made by HB&C France, three are stamped on the base, it was often the case that not every one was marked.

The Pont Alexandre III plate has a crack 2" long on one side, I have included it without charge as it is my favourite bridge! Essential to traversing the Seine between the major exhibition sites.
