A rare and well preserved collectible souvenir of the Exposition Universelle 1878, a showcase for French design in the heart of Paris.
 
Two well preserved and decorative cards of enamelled 'double gold' passepartout buttons, each with a delightful pattern (select from the pull down menu)
 
The cards are dated and labelled as being from the exhibition and the contents of the card are noted to be copyrighted 'marque déposé'
 
Each bouton is a 1/4 of an inch and are sewn onto the card with the original silk thread.
 
The cards measure 4.5" by 3" and have the preciously won awards celebrated on the card.
