Gorgeous antique bevelled glass easel style bevelled glass and ornate ormolu frame from Paris, still with the original backing paper to hold your choice of photograph.
 
The Napoleon III bow on the top is detailed and has developed some patina with time, with a darker bronze colour. The bow is of solid brass, not the usual répoussé style, making it one of the older and more up market of this style of frame.
 
The glass has a very minor chip on each side, difficult to capture and one of the bun feet has been a little bend at the back, it remains level and stable.
 
It measures 4.75" by 3.5" plus the sweet bun feet and bow.
