An absolutely beautiful parrot tulip design, with sweet forget me nots along side, intricately depictued on a gently patinated ironstone plate. These small plates were used for serving hors d'oeuvres or amuse bouche and were indispensable in a French household.
 
It has the beautiful 'Tulipe' Luneville stamp on the base, dating it to the begining of the 1900s.
