The Minton design is based on the traditional English pattern with its blooms and birds and soft pinks, greens and blues.
 
Minton and English china was very desirable in the 19th century period of Haussemann expansion in Paris, some china was imported and rebranded, this range was made to their own specifications by Sarreguemines. The hand finished handles have the signature Sarreguemines design for the perfect quintessentially French twist.
 
It evokes the atmosphere of a Parisian Salon and is charming to use. 
 
The cups are in good antique condition, with a little teastaining in the base of one. They make the perfect elegant tea for two!
 
The saucers are 6" in diameter, the cups 3.75" in diameter.
