From Paris, an antique jewelry stand from thew 19th century, a fluted crystal bowl holds M'Lady's jewels, as the looking glass catches her reflection and the diamonds sparkle in the candlelight.

The thin twsited metal stand allows the mouth blown glass bowl to float delicately, either side are loops for either a candle or a posy of flowers. The oval mirror is bevelled and shows some delightful foxing of age. Surrounding it is a répossé frame and elegant plaque over with a hook for a necklace or drop earrings. The front of the stand has an oval ormolu plaque with a leaf design.

The glass bowl is crackled on the inside, but not on the underside where there is only the blowing mark in the centre.

The whole of the metal is patinated and has not been cleaned or restored in any way, leaving all choices to you.

The jewel stand is 9" tall and 6" across the widest point. The glass bowl is 4" in diameter and the mirror just over 3" long.
