This carved wooden bread board has given great service in a family home. Continuous use has charmingly worn the carved 'Bread' lettering and the design as well as giving the wood a wonderful patina.
 
Underneath there is a scorch mark, either from the board being placed on a hot stove or being used inverted as a pot stand.
