Handsome and decorative vintage French metal postal scale with a metric calibtated white enamel dial, brass indicator and a brass letter tray.
 
The tray is no longer completely flat from use, but easily holds letters of other accessories to dress the scale. but overall the scale is in good vintage condition and stands firmly on its three metal feet. There is an adjustable screw on the front leg to keep the scale balanced.
 
The letter plate is 8.5" tall, the base is just over 6" wide.
