It's magical to be able to link a palette to the artist himself, this was bought from a retired art dealer in Paris who had a friendship with Pierre Neveu and cleared his studio
 
Pierre was born in Paris on 10th July 1929, studied at the Atelier des Beaux Arts in Paris, he is of international renown, particularly in the United States as well as France, being recognised in 2007 with the Medal of Honour from the French Salon d'Artistes.
 
As you can perhaps tell from the palette, his landscapes, for which he was particularly famous, were noted for their jewel tones and luminosity. He is particularly known for his paintings of Paris and Provence.
