Full of primitive charm, this cheese strainer, used for making faisselle in France, would make a beautiful addition to your collection,  as well as being useable for cheese making or straining berries, they display wonderfully. Each is hand made and therefore a one-off. 
 
The glaze is uneavenly applied giving it a very rustic charm. There is one small very old chip and the  start of one hairline on the inside which hasn't gone through. It will be very carefully packaged. 
 
Have you tried putting a tealight inside you faisselle? The patterns are beautiful as the light shines through the holes. 
 
This faisselle measures 3.5" tall and 6.5" across.
