A gorgeous antique pair of 'pricket' church candlesticks from a French chapel, in the less usual colour way of silver on white metal.
 
They have a traditional ridged and beaded design on the columns and particularly beautiful ornately scrolled three sided bases with images of the Holy Family.
 
They date from the 1800s and are 16" tall and are 19" to the top of the pricket one is slightly off perpendicular, although the candles still burn evenly.
