Christofle has been the silversmith of choice for elevated French tables since 1830. Further the late Queen Elizabeth also owned many Christofle pieces.
 
It has charm and cachet, well designed and good quality.
 
These two salt cellars are classic Christofle, the elegance of the design and the beautiful cobalt blue pots for the salt. The little feet they stand on are adorable.
 
They are each very slightly different sizes, the sign of a hand crafted piece, and are available separately.
 
There are tiny nibbles in the glass, the imperfection life, from much age and use. There is some verdegris and marking from contact with salt, hidden underneath the blue glass pots, please see the photographs
 
They measure 5" by 3" by 6" tall to the top of their elegantly twirled handles.
