This charming Christofle teapot joins the Prestige collection.
 
Christofle is the forefront designer in silverware, producing the most wonderful pieces with excellent quality, form and function,
 
This rounded and delightfully engraved teapot has been authenticated and dated to 1890- 91 by Christofle's vintage department, they identified it by the serial number on the base. It is also of course stamped with the Christofle name.
 
With wonderfully ornate feet, handle and pinnacle, it is a joy and remains useable, the inside is in great condition. It is well balanced when pouring, an important consideration.
 
There is some patination to the outside, it will clean to a shine if required. 
 
The teapot measures 10" spout to handle, 5" tall, a little higher to the top of the handle.
