An enchanting pair of Sarreguemines Golden Pheasant pattern small coffee vessels, for sale separately; a polychromatic coffee bowl dating from 1868 and a coffee cup dating from 1920s.
 
Both have a pair of love birds and beautiful roses in addition to an image of a country cottage inside on the bottom. Inside they are also decorated elaborately around the rim. Both are completely charming and have different Sarreguemines stamps on the base.
 
The bowl is hand coloured over the transfer in green, blue and golden yellow. Inside there is some slight staining from age and use. It measures 2" tall and 3" diameter.
 
The cup has the same monochromatic design. It is slightly larger across at 3.5". There is a little staining around the base and some tiny nibbles around the rim and signs of wear on the handle. 
 
These vessels have been used and enjoyed and have a story to tell!
