A gorgeous soft red rounded water ewer by favourite manufacturer Boulenger and company, dating from 1878.
 
It has a beautiful floral design, called Jardinère and a gently fluted design around the lip which elevates the elegance, along with the detailing on the handle. 
 
The pitcher is gently crazed but in good condition overall, measuring 5.5" tall and  9" across the length.
