A rare and collectible mustard tureen from the 'Parisian' service produced in the 1870s joins the prestige collection at Quintessentially French.
Designed by the famous artist and designer M. Froment-Richard. This was his early design for Creil et Montereau before the Enfant Richard collection.
The elegant mustard tureen is always the most collectible part of a service and this is one beautiful, with hand painted birds, flowers and a beautiful and very ornate bronze gold lustrous finish, the handles are particularly splendid.
There is a very mature chip on the edge of the lid and underneath.
