A beautiful tureen bowlfrom 19th century France, found in Paris.
Over a century and a half of use has developped a unique cappuccino patina which beautifully enhances the flock of birds flying around the bowl.
Originally this would have been used as a vegetable serving dish in a French household.
It measures 10" across the handles and 3.5" tall. It has some old hairline cracks from the rim, it is usable for display and planting with bulbs but no longer for serving food.
