The iconic French chololate brand and the iconic sign, joins the Chocolat Menier collection at Quintessentially French. 
 
This is an original sturdy enamelled metal outdoor sign, once fixed to the wall outside a shop stocking Menier. It is in the in the traditional "blue marine" a bright navy blue and white and with the words "en Vente ici" sold here, on the top.
 
This is one of the older, antique signs as it is made by the Jappy company (the best French enamellers) signed in the bottom right. This increases the desirability and collectibility.
 
It shows signs of its age and life outside with some losses to the enamel and rusty patches. It remains solid and intact, the marks considered a sign of authenticity and desirability. 
 
Perfect statement piece for a French home and especially lovely as kitchen decor, its where I have mine!
