There is something very special about this little baby Jesus figurine from a French nativity, probably from a private chapel.
 
It appears to be antique, the style suggests late 1800s to turn of the century  and it has been well used resulting is a hand and some fingers missing as well as worn paint. 
 
However this makes it perfectly charming for its imperfections,  the face is wonderful, the gown drapes beautifully and is carefully cast and painted.
 
He is 6" long
