A large agricultural plaque from the departmental agricultural show of l'Orne in the Normandy region, it is the special prize for a champion bull.
 
The gold letters stand out from the plaque, they are easily legible with most of the gold paint intact. The green base paint has worn over the years. These plaques were often attached to the outside of the barn, giving them this wonderful aged patina.
 
The plaque is just over 10" wide
