A very unusual and smart tureen dating from the 1890s made by Luneville (stamped on the base) and hand decorated with a dark green line around the rim and on the handles. It stacks particularly well with all white tureens.
 
It is in good antique condition, it has been well used and has some of the expected ironstone staining from use and one small hairline, pictured.
 
It measures 7" tall and 11" across the handles, just over 8" in diameter at the opening of the bowl
