Generally considered the best, Pugeot Frères make quality coffee grinders and this one from the 1950/60s still works well. 
 
Acknowledged by connoisseurs to produce better ground coffee than the electric 'choppers'! these are still used in many French homes, including my own.
 
This classic blue has wear to the paint on the lid where it has been held and used and the wooden handle on the grinding arm has developped a rich, smooth patina from many a hand.
 
The grinder measures 7" tall and 5.5" wide, plus the handle.
