Sold as a set of three as they tell a story, of a boy going to market, flirting with his sweetheart and having a kiss, all with lots of blushing! Such an unusual find.
Dating from around 1900, these were fashionable for entrtaining friends for coffee as piecing the story together made good interactive conversation.
They are stamped HB&C (Boulanger) on the base and terre de fer (ironstone). They are in good antique used condition with some patination inside.
They measure 2.5" tall and in diameter. Each cup has been discounted to 40€ to keep the set together as they usually retail for more.
