Lavalliere is one of the most sought after French 19th century polychromatic designs, so I am delighted to be able to bring you a delightful trio of Sarreguemines Lavalliere pieces. They are available separately to help you build your collection.
Lavalliere is an extremely beautiful floral design, an elegant palette and equally elegant fluted form. The finer details have been carefully hand painted in the Sarreguemines atelier to highlight the beautiful flowing lines.
The delightful cup and saucer set have a gold rim and the delightfully resized Lavaliere pattern. Both cups are lightly patinated inside and one has damage, a crack and chip. This has been added in at a nominal cost as the saucer is intact and useful for serving little bite sized cakes and the cups look lovely stacked together.
The cup measures 4" diameter, plus handle and is 2" high.
All three items have the beautiful mid blue oranate Sarreguemines stamp dating from the last decade of the 1800s and used on the premier ranges. They came from a grand Parisian house.
