Such delicate and elegant warm brown floral tea cups and saucers with a beautiful fluted design with gold accents.

 

These are English made by Blair and co but were found in France. There was a vogue in Paris in the Haussemann era for English porcelain from The Potteries in Staffordshire, where some of the most influential French designers had trained. 

 

They are sold in pairs for tea for two. They have 'tea staining' patination from age and use, complimenting the transferware colour.

 

Dated by the base stamp, the cups were made in  the mid 1890s. The cups measure 2.25" tall and the saucers 5" in diameter
