An exceptional example of a Victorian era French embroidered lace collar with delightfully intricate intricate hand embelished designs.
 
The collar is in French 'Blanc cassé' a creamy ivory shade and has a hand applied raised edging and decoration over a tulle base.
 
There are a few pulls in the tulle, very small and requiring a close inspection to spot, mainly where the decor is attached, and overall in good condition for its age. 
 
The collar measures14" across and 16" deep.
