A choice of three splendid, ornately decorated sugar tongs, all found in France. As well as being useful for serving small morcels, not just sugar cubes, they are highly decorative and make an attractive styling prop.

They are numbered from left to right in the first picture and each is tagged to an individual picture when you select from the pull down bar.

Tongs one have a dark patina, which could be polished, and a firm grip with an ornate fluted shape, bold detailing and paw shaped tongs at the end. There is a scrape at the top about 1/4" long where the plate has been lost. They are 5.5" long

Tongs two have a lighter colour, less patinated and have a lighter grip, while still being higher quality. The decoration is more fluid with natural motifs, flowers and leaves. The tong ends are an acanthus style. It has a French hallmark. They are 6" long

Tongs three are the highest quality. They are older and a heavier metal with quality plating. Hallmarked at the top, they have engraved monogramming, acanthus scrolling design and paw tong ends. They are thicker embossed metal as opposed to the pressed metal of the other two. They are 6.25" long.
