This is a very old, probably around 1870s-1880s sepia coloured ironstone plate, from sought after manufacturers Gien, with a beautiful backstamp. 
 
It is French dinner size, 9.5"  with charming classical botanical designs, perhaps with a nod to Japanese design which was very fashionable at the time. 
 
The plate is very well used and shows it's age, it has some minor age related discolouration and  light crazing on the front, deeper crazing on the reverse.
