A wonderful find at a Paris antique market, an oil and vinagar set in the most beautiful embossed majolica design and colourway. 
 
A complete set of an oil and vinegar bottle, their stoppers and the stand to place them on the table. The carrier has a circular hole each side of the handle to place the stoppers in when dressing one's salad.
 
The pink and green floral design is outstanding, with raised areas elevating this beyond other majolica pieces. This French confection has joined the Prestige Collection.
 
Dating from the 19th century, it is in super antique condition, there is some light craquelure and a minor nibble inside one of the bottle lids. 
 
If not used at table, the bottles make attractive vases, with the stoppers placed in their receptacles for safe keeping of course.
 
The ensemble measures 8" tall, 8" wide and 4" deep
