A small and highly collectible child's playset version of the beloved French ironstone dinner service staple, with all the beautiful detailing of its adult counterpart, the ornate handles are absolutely gorgeous and the painted cornflower design is a classic. The hand applied design is slightly smudged on one side, dating from manufacture.
 
It is delightfully stained, lightly buttered! This suggests that it has been used for hot foods, perhaps for nursery teas with dolls. 
 
It measures 6" across the handles and stands 2.25" tall.
