The rich patina of old copper, developped over many years of use, is always a favourite, but especially as we move into autumn. 
 
This sweet compact kettle is the perfect size for one or two cups, it measures 7" including the handle  and 7" across the widest part has seen much use. The tinning inside is there but has darkened and there is a small dent in the top, I wonder what story that could tell?
 
I haven't polished it but left as found for you to decide.
