Salvaged from an old textiles Mill in my neighbouring town, these vintage bobbins add character and textural interest to a display, sitting particularly beautifully alongside white ironstone and florals. 
 
Sold in sets of three with one of each design bobbin and a thread spool or a set of the spindle with two bobbins. For clarity,  the options are tagged to a photograph in the pull down menu. Two of the smaller bobbins have original blue paint on the ends, no doubt to identify them in the Mill.
 
The wooden bobbins are timeworn from use and the thread is a little dusty from storage with varying amounts of thread on each. 
 
The longer bobbins are conical and measure 7.5" long, the smaller ones are 5.5" and the spools are just under 10". The spindle is just over 7" long and has 70 stamped on the bottom.
