A beautiful framed work of art to grace any home, signed Anson in the bottom right, it is dated 19th June 1988, painted in Ouistreham on the Normandy coast (the Ouistreham Beach was one of the 1944 Normandy landing beaches) 
 
It has the fresh greens and blooms of early summer as trees in flower gracefully arch over a lake with a shaded grassy bank beyond.
 
It is well framed and the quality of the framing matches the quality of the painting. 
 
The painting measures 13" by 9" and the frame 17.5" by 13.5"
