Full of primitive charm, these cheese strainers, used for making faisselle in France, would make a beautiful addition to your collection,  as well as being useable for cheese making or straining berries, they display wonderfully. Each is hand made and therefore a one-off.

They come from the same farm dairy adn make a lovely pair. The glaze is uneavenly applied, especially around the base where they have been dipped by hand into the glaze, giving them a very rustic charm. These faiselles have been well used, there are several chips around each of the rims but no cracks.

Have you tried putting a tealight inside your faisselle? The patterns are beautiful as the light shines through the holes.

The smaller is just under 3" tall and 4" wide and the larger is 3" tall and 4.5" wide
