I love the beautiful rich warm colours of this pot, glazed on the inside and half glazed on the outside, it was used to preferve meat , with the handle making it easier to grip, it has survived these many decades of use. 
 
Hand made, and beautifully tactile, the glaze has pooled and dripped in places, giving it a charming artisinal finish.
 
Standing 4" tall, it makes a beautiful sun kissed earthy accent colour of the south of France in any setting.
