In such an unusual and sought after colour, this antique lilac chamber pot features transferware roses both on the outside and the bottom and has a delightful heart shaped edging.

On the base it has the particularly attractive Luneville mark, confirming it as dating between the late 19th and early 20th  century.

There is a small repair in the lip, done well by the original owner, why throw out a beautiful piece when it can be repaired and continued to be used? This has always been a characteristic of French households. The repair is pictured and unobtrusive, pictured.

The chamber pot measures 5.25" tall and 9.5" across the rather lovely handle.
