A good solid match striker from a bar or restaurant in France made of chunky ironstone with a solid base, probably why it has survived so long!

Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, it has a manufacturing fault on the side of the rim, clearly pictured. This is the sort of imperfection we like at Quintessentially French, making the item unique,  it is not structural and can be turned to the back if preferred. It has appropriate signs of age and use.

It measures 5.5" diameter and 3" tall
