Large thick heavy ironstone confiture pot with a  creamy aged patina and a beautiful rare stamp on the base.
 
Dating from the end ot the 19th to early 20th century, it wears its age well, having one old chip on the rim and so,e light staining, more heavily on the inside.
 
This pot sits well with other ironstone, as a contrast to advertising pots or more heavily stained crocks.
