A wonderful neutral for your home, this beautiful French vintage grès cheese strainer has  a deep creamy glaze.
 
A beautiful mould once used for making arisan farmhouse cheese.
 
It is hand made with the holes in slightly wonky lines and imperfections in the glaze,  a joy to have in the home. It is unusual to find a creamy faisselle this large and it will take a votive candle to make a beautiful ambient light. 
 
It is in great condition, there is a hairline crack in the glaze which doesn't  go right through into the stoneware. It will of course be packaged very carefully for transit. 
 
It measures  4" tall and 6.5" wide at the top.
