Salvaged from a French business which, long ago, used these stamps to mark the crates of the goods they shipped. Today, they display beautifully as a quirky French curiosity.
 
The paint has stained the wood completely a blue / white, the handles are primitively formed and uneaven but practical, covered in layers of paint and delightful. I have flipped the last picture to show the lettering as they are, obviously, written in reverse and they say Property CHEP France SA.
