With a beautiful floral soft red transferware design, this turn of the 19th century ironstone washstand set is a delight. Comprising of a soap dish and a toothbrush or razor tray, it would have been used on a marble washstand, but looks delightful on a dressing table or bathroom counter today.
 
Both have the attractive stamp, 'Jardinère St Amand Hamage' on the base . The toothbrush tray has a hairline less than 1" long on the bottom right corner, this is visible in the last picture.
 
The lager tray is 9" by 4" and the smaller is 5.25" by 4.75"
