Striking 19th century cup and saucer from Digoin Sarreguemines, stamped on the base, from the Timor range. It was first made around 1875 and manufactured for a few years. 
 
The design is charming and intricate with figures, flowers and a classic pagoda. In muted primary colours, these late 19th century cups are very beautiful and desirable. 
 
There are three available, one cup has little use and is in a less patinated condition and the other two have been well used and have more staining and crazing. 
 
The cup measures 8.5cm or 3.25" diameter and 5cm or 2" deep, the saucer is 15cm or 6" in diameter.
