Two beautifully and simply designed café au lait bowls in a timeworn creamy colour, one slightly darker than the other. These are an absolute French classic and their faceted design is highlighted by subtle wear on the ridges.
 
These are old bowls, dating to the 19th century, as can be seen from the marks on the base. 
 
The one which is more heavily stained (named light caramel and the top one in the first photograph) has a hairline crack. Both show their age and use, inclusding crazing. They are for sale separately but shipping can be combined if you would like the pair.
 
They measure 5.5" in diameter and 3" tall.
