Dating from the second half of the 1800s with a gorgeous flourish of a bow on top, this frame is even more special as it has the original convex glass and a solid brass back, all signs of quality.
 
It measures 4.5" in diameter, just under 5.5" to the top of the bow. The oromlu is bright but patinated, the back is patinated too from age and wear.
 
The stand finctions but the metal is slightly bent. There is also an integral hanging hook so it can be hung on the wall.
