Classic large French single stripe torchons  or kitchen towels in slubby hemp linen. There is a red stripe along each length and the hand stiched monogram M R in the corner. The fabric is a natural creamy colour, the torchon has been used and washed, and has a gently slubby appearance.  
 
Torchons are completely Quintessentially French and not only are great for drying glasses streak free, but look great in your kitchen and display and photograph beautifully.
 
It is large enough to use as a table cloth on a small table,  as it measures a huge 38" by 32"
