The French are so elegant in their design, this flower frog is elevated by the silver plated stand, itself elegant with its restrained decoration of engraved bands is decorative in itself with or wothout flowers.
 
I have not polished the outside of the stand, we always leave the patina at Quintessentially French. It could be polished to a similar shine as the interior of the bowl if required.
 
The crystal frog which holds water in the French style (stamped 'Made in France') measures 4" diameter. The silver plated stand holds the frog and is 3" tall, making the pair 5" tall.
