A very sought after bird design water ewer in the desirable rounded shape, wonderful to use for flowers and displays beautifully. This is a rare and uncommon design and highly collectible.
 
Found in Paris this beautiful design featuring a bird on each side, perched on a floral branch. The rim is elegantly decorated as is the handle, with an attention to detail of the French designers of the 19th century.
 
There is one tiny hairline at the rim, and some light crazing and patination, particularly inside and on the rim, from the hot water used in it, but it remains in overall good antique condition.
It imeasures 8" long, including the handle and stands 6" high
