An exceptional French find, a very old leather and bronze bell collar from a French farm.
 
It has had a long life of service. The six bells have a deep lustre and authentic patina. They have at some time been reinforced on the back to extend their useful life.
 
The leather is worn, but intact and strong along with the original buckle. It has not been treated, other than gently cleaned but could be waxed if required, I leave the choice to you. 
 
The collar measures 6.5" by 6", the bells measure 1.5"
